Elio's construction methods ensure a strong and rigid kayak in all models. This is because all these kayaks have a core material. The composites and the processes they are put through have been refined to produce good quality kayaks in all constructions. The vacuum system construction produces the lightest and most rigid kayak. Most colour combinations and patterns can be accommodated (your choice) but be aware that gel coat pigments add a certain amount of weight, therefore to obtain the lightest possible kayak a clear gelcoat should be selected. When selecting AIRTECH constructions, any combination of composite materials (carbon, carbon kevlar, kevlar) can be chosen. All kayaks come with a composite seat as standard (carbon seats with AIRTECH, carbon kevlar seats with SHOCKTECH). Either a screwdown or platform seat can be chosen in the higher stability models. Basic models come with a one-handed, quickly adjustable footrest. All kayaks have the ability to change the length of the steering bar without altering the rudder wires.
